SUMMER TIME = TRAVEL TIME = SHOPPING TIME!
I am so excited to share some fun shopping inspirations from my beautiful home town Vienna! While it is pretty tough selecting just a few of my favorites ( there are SO many great stores, cafes and restaurants!), I was thrilled to visit these places this summer and I just love to share my findings with you, sweet fashion friends!
First up, handbags! You know me - handbags are always number one on my list. So I was thrilled to find a Viennese handbag designer that I actually LOVE! Her name is INA KENT and her bags are brilliant! They are made of super soft, shiny or matte leather and they are so very versatile! We are of course trying to bring these beauties back to @ELLAANDRUBI so if you are not traveling to Vienna any time soon - stay put - we are on it:)
Next up - a great cup of coffee and of course some amazing cake to go with it!
Cafe Strudls ( very close to INA KENT) serves an amazing Melange ( a better, viennese cappuccino) and every day the owner is baking amazing Strudels and cakes, cookies and other delicious pastries.
Ok, now we are going into the inner city part of Vienna for some clothes and shoes. My first stop at every visit? INKED ! They not only have the best selection ( Isabel Marant, Zimmerman, Rag and Bone and many more ) but they also carry some of our @ELLAANDRUBI favorites like WarmMe and BandsOfLA!
Well, we have come to our last stop for today. What's missing? Jewelry of course! If you have looked at my wrist you will see that I am never without at least 2-3 ANNA INSPIRED JEWELLERY bracelets. They are super subtle, silk stings with tiny little charms that can be either customized or you just select one of the amazing pieces in the lovely little store. I am absolutely in love with my newest purchase! I picked a pink silk band with a rose gold charm that reads
"Tu Es Mon Bonheur" - and of course I had to bring one back to my RUBI as well:)
Did I say this is my last stop? Well....so much shopping made me hungry - and very THIRSTY ! So my last stop for the day was one of my favorite secret little restaurants - LABSTELLE where the salad is fresh and amazing and they serve the best of Austrian wines - best to have a "G'spritzter" which is cold Gruner Veltliner with a bit of sparkling water and some ice cubes. Just right for a tired Viennese shopper:)
